Self-Published Book
In 2001, I wrote a short story for school inspired by my family’s summer vacations. In 2016, after I was encouraged to share it more broadly, I published it in eBook form through Kindle and Apple Books.

Over the years, I’ve developed an extensive digital movie library. It’s gotten a bit too large for guests to browse through the library itself. To solve this problem, I’ve started a project to physically display my movie library in an organized and expandable manner for guests to browse. I am creating custom designed cards (the size of a business card) that can be displayed in a Rolodex or something similar in a manner where I can easily group them into genres and sort alphabetically. I’m also using designs that can be easily scaled to print as movie posters.
This was a long-term project created to provide information and promote research incentives and resources available to professors and students at Pittsburg State University. It was a long-term project because it probably had more different versions that any other project I worked on for this office.
These are just a few of my favorite design projects I created in my two years as a member in the MBA Association at PSU.
This slideshow was created and updated by me for the Graduate Office to promote our catalog of graduate programs. We kept the slideshow on display in our office on a screen visible when you walk in, and we set it as a screensaver for the offices public computer. This was also the slideshow we would use at education and career fairs.
Every year the Graduate Office hosts the Graduate and Research Awards Banquet. Awards banquets require an accompanying program. This is that program.
I was hired by Stouse to design a variety of product examples for an online and print catalog for all products offered by Stouse. By the end of the 3-month internship I had designed more than 3,000 unique images. More on this coming soon…
During my undergraduate studies I used a Blogger website for my portfolio. I’ll eventually update this portfolio to include the work featured there. For now, I encourage you to take a look. There’s some good work there, including logos, 3D design, packaging, print work, and more…
To this day, this has always been one of my favorite projects. The project was simple, design a vintage looking package for a set of Double Six Airplane Dominoes. I love vintage design, so this was an assignment I was anxious to work on. I had been hearing about the project for about a year from other classes, and I couldn’t wait!
Pittsburg State has a very respected graphic design program. As such, it is very common that local businesses and organizations offer project opportunities to classes and students. One of those projects came from Fort Scott Community College (FSCC). They were looking for a new logo and came to us for ideas. Each student in the Graphic Design class designed a unique logo and presented them to the class. We picked our favorites and sent them to FSCC. This was the logo I designed.
