The Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies at Pittsburg State University is responsible for managing, coordinating, and marketing all graduate and continuing education programs at the University. I was a graduate assistant for the office from February, 2013 through December, 2013 as a Graphic and Web Designer.
During that time, I was responsible for maintaining the graduate website, redesigning the websites for each college, designing promotional materials, developing advertisements, building informational handouts, maintaining University brand standards, answering phones, and other miscellaneous office duties.

This video was created for the Master of Engineering Technology program at Pittsburg State University. I filmed, edited, and produced it while working as a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies. Prior to this project, I had no professional video experience. I learned nearly everything involved on the job. This was a fun project and and a great experience.
This was a long-term project created to provide information and promote research incentives and resources available to professors and students at Pittsburg State University. It was a long-term project because it probably had more different versions that any other project I worked on for this office.
This slideshow was created and updated by me for the Graduate Office to promote our catalog of graduate programs. We kept the slideshow on display in our office on a screen visible when you walk in, and we set it as a screensaver for the offices public computer. This was also the slideshow we would use at education and career fairs.
Believe it or not, this was my first GIF. I could never really get over the poor quality. The circumstances of situation, however, required a GIF, as opposed to a flash file or animated PNG. So, I set out to create a GIF with the highest quality possible.
Every year the Graduate Office hosts the Graduate and Research Awards Banquet. Awards banquets require an accompanying program. This is that program.
